PII Masking

Automatically redact personal information from stored transcripts.

What it masks

When enabled, the following patterns are detected and replaced with [REDACTED] before transcripts are stored:

  • Credit card numbers (16-digit patterns)
  • Social Security Numbers (SSN format)
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers

Where to find it

Agent builder → Security tab → Privacy Protection → PII Masking toggle.

Note · PII masking is per-agent. Enable it on any agent that handles sensitive personal data. It applies to transcript messages stored in Logs — it does not affect the live conversation.
